How to level up & get stronger
Phantom Blade Zero has no experience points and no character level. Soul gets stronger four ways: collectibles spent on the skill tree, weapon upgrades up to level 30, Memory Flowers that raise his stats, and accessories. Exploring every region is the fastest way to grow.
The four ways to get stronger

The fastest way to grow
- Clear each region's collection tracker before moving on: every Amber Shard, Blackstone Shard and Memory Flower is permanent power.
- Equip the Treasure Basin early — it raises Remnant Dust drops by 10%, and Remnant Dust pays for every upgrade and skill.
- Do side quests: some grant Memory Flowers, like sparing the Red Wraith.
- Put your materials into one main weapon; if it is the wrong one, the Reforging Talisman refunds everything.
The best spots to farm Remnant Dust and upgrade materials are added from launch day, once enemy respawns are confirmed.
