Kill the corrupted archers at the Ruthless Archer Camp in Weeping Creek Valley for the Broken-String Bow, then take it to the Brooding Old Archer on a rooftop of the Mandate outpost (side quest Purge the Sect). He repairs it and gives it back as the Feather Bow.

How do you get the Feather Bow?

From the Brooding Old Archer at the Mandate outpost in Weeping Creek Valley. The Broken-String Bow drops at the Ruthless Archer Camp, among the archers of the side quest Purge the Sect; bring it to him and he restrings it. At level 1 its card reads Damage 180 and Guard Break 164.

What are the red bow icons on the map?

Targets for a Ranged Phantom Edge, marked Missing: Ranged-type Phantom Edge. Once you own the Feather Bow they turn green and read Can use. Its Ranged Shot works even when the bow is not equipped.

Is the Feather Bow the Night Owl?

Yes. The 2025 demo and the August 2026 State of Play called it Night Owl, with the same card text: a bow repaired by the old archer. In the demo it was the answer to archers on towers and ledges, a use not yet reviewed in the final game.

What Feather Bow does

Hold R2 to charge a shot for 1 Remnant Spark; arrows deal more damage to enemies at full HP, and Ranged Shot brings down hanging objects even when the bow is not equipped.

Its Willow Step perks let Soul fire while dodging sideways, dashing forward or stepping back, and Hundred-Pace Pierce adds damage when enemies have not spotted you. Before launch it was called Night Owl.
