Jagged Steel overview
Jagged Steel is a one-handed blade built around Bleed. Every direct hit builds the target's Blood Loss gauge, and its Sha-Chi combo turns any swing of the standard chain into a heavier, gauge-breaking finisher.
In-game description
A rather battered looking weapon stolen from Allied Justice. Despite its unsightly look, the sword is highly lethal. All those teeth and barbs are intended to maximize bleeding.

01Does Jagged Steel cause bleed in Phantom Blade Zero?+
Yes. Every direct hit builds the target's Blood Loss gauge; when it fills, Blood Loss triggers. The final weapon card also notes that some enemies are unaffected.
02What is the difference between Hemorrhage and Blood Loss?+
Same effect, two builds. The 2025 demo called the triggered state Hemorrhage; the weapon card shown in the August 2026 State of Play calls it Blood Loss.
